Lewis Dean’s rental properties are normally available for a minimum term of 6 months. If you are seeking a rental property in the Bournemouth or Poole areas rentals are available to both working and non working applicants with a good credit history. Vetting normally takes 48 hours so we can place you in a property fast. If you are not working or are a student you will require a working guarantor.

When you find the right property what do you need to do?
Contact the office where a member of our team will be happy to assist you in completing the relevant documents. You will need to provide Lewis Dean Letting with the administration fee in cleared funds along with the completed referencing forms to enable us to hold the property for you while we carry out referencing and financial checks. The admin fee is only refundable if the landlord declines the tenancy.
You will need to provide:
- Proof of identity in the form of your driving licence or passport. (Not a Copy)
- Employment or Accountants details.
- Current landlord’s details. (If applicable.)
- Name & Address of Guarantor. (If applicable.)
- Your Guarantor will need to provide proof of identity.
Your Deposit is Secure!
The deposit is a month and a quarter rent and is held with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) this is a government custodial scheme. DPS also offers an independent and free Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service which will aim to resolve any disputes quickly and without the need for court action.
First Months Rent
The first month’s rent is payable in advance and both the deposit and first month’s rent must have cleared prior to you moving into the property.
Insurance
You are responsible for insuring your personal possession and furniture. Your landlord is responsible for insuring the property and his/her furniture.
